Program

Since 2019, the Clean Oceans through Clean Communities (CLOCC) Programme has worked in India and Indonesia to strengthen waste management systems, reduce marine plastic pollution, and promote circular economy solutions. Funded by Norad, with support from the Global Methane Hub and the Grieg Foundation, CLOCC focuses on tackling plastic and organic waste at the source while empowering local communities.

This webinar will present CLOCC’s key results and lessons from six years of work, including innovative approaches to plastic and organic waste, safer livelihoods for informal waste workers, and district-wide waste management planning.

Partners from Sirk Norge, ISWA, Hand in Hand, InSWA, RPW, and Go Circular will share insights on financing, partnerships, and community-driven solutions for ocean health and climate resilience.
